Yes, all students receive a free 30 minute session. So, that they can experience our tutoring service first hand. Contact Us, to learn more and book your trial session.

Sessions in the standard and up plan, can be recorded at the students request and made available for personal use.

This can vary by the course being taught. Most, sessions will start with a short presentation introducing new material, followed by a live coding section where the tutor and student code side by side.

Tutors will send regularly send post session emails, with what content was covered and how the student is doing.

Tutors are selected based on the expertise in the subject area and availability. However, students can express a preference for a specific tutor and we will try our best to accommodate.

Session lengths vary depending on the plan purchased. We offer 30-minute, 45-minute, and 55-minute sessions.

For online tutoring, students will need a stable internet connection, a microphone, and a physical keyboard.

The exact software requirements may vary based on the content being taught. Tutors will also assist students with setting up any software or accounts needed for learning.

Some of the software we use includes:

• Microsoft Teams an industry-standard meeting and voice call tool, which can be accessed via a web browser or as an app.
• Visual Studio Code A versatile and powerful code editor used widely in the programming industry.
• GitHub An essential collaboration tool, it allows students to manage their coding projects, track changes, and collaborate with others.

To cancel a session, please email your tutor, who will then cancel the session on your behalf. If you cancel more than 48 hours in advance, you can book a make-up session at no additional cost. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will incur a fee for scheduling a make-up session.

If a tutor cancels a session, students are entitled to either a free make-up session or a full refund of the session. For refunds on sessions cancelled by students, please refer to our cancellation policy.
